Dave likes to lead by example. He has a no-nonsense approach to the Law, and is dedicated to getting the best outcome for all of our Clients. With over 30 years of experience, Dave has seen most problems, and will give you straightforward advice on your case. In his spare time, as well as enjoying time with his family, Dave is passionate about the game of rugby football. Dave supports Leicester Tigers, Old Laurentian RFC and Kenilworth RFC.
Debt collection specialist and office manager
Diana has over 25 years’ experience in the Law, and has the dual role of office manager and debt collection specialist. Diana deals with non-contested small claims disputes. Diana started her career as a paralegal in the criminal department of a large firm of solicitors in 1982. Diana subsequently moved into working in civil litigation, where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Away from the office, Diana swaps debt collection for gem collection and has established a beautiful collection of precious gemstone jewellery over the years. Diana loves spending time with her family and friends, visiting local eateries, and tries to keep as fit as possible by walking her Basset Hound “Shirley Bassi”.
Ellen Hall has over 25 years of extensive experience at all levels of litigation including Privy Council, Court of Appeal, High Court, County Court, Family Court, Magistrates Court proceedings. She had worked in Hong Kong, London, Switzerland and worked with clients based in China, Europe, Australia, USA and Canada, specialising in international and commercial litigation as well as general litigation such as injunctions, company law, contracts, commercial and residential landlord & tenant disputes, property litigation, employment tribunal, wills and probate, insolvency, dispute resolution. She is bilingual in English and Chinese.
Saher qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and has always had an interest in Wills and Probate. In 2017 Saher decided to retrain and specialise in this area of law and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP). Saher completed the STEP Certificate in Trusts and Estates course in June 2018 which she passed with a Distinction. Saher then began the STEP Diploma course which she completed in December 2019 and was awarded a Merit overall. Saher is currently an Affiliate member of STEP. Saher is married and has three children. Saher enjoys interior design, architecture and history. Saher taught herself to crochet and makes amigurumi toys for friends and family. Saher also enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures. Saher has travelled to Morocco, Luxor, Jakarta, Cairo, Istanbul, Florence, Dubai and Bali to name but a few places, her most favourite trip to date has to be Rome.
Trainee Legal Executive
Martin has worked in business administration for more than five years, and is currently training to be a Legal Executive. Martin is likely to be your first point of contact with David Lee Solicitors. Martin is responsible for client care, collating documents and communication. In his spare time, Martin enjoys socialising, spending time with his daughter Grace and watching rugby. Martin is now busy saving for his wedding in 2021.
Dave’s Virtual Assistant
Janet has over 17 years’ experience working within the legal industry. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Secretaries. She is also a qualified proofreader. Janet is responsible for the digital transcription/copy typing and proofreading for David, Alan, and Gary on a freelance basis. In her spare time she likes to knit and when she has time she likes to swap her ‘keyboard’ keys for ‘piano’ keys as she tries to play the piano. She likes socialising with friends and family, and her favourite tipple is real ale.
