With over 30 years of experience, Dave has seen most problems, and will give you straightforward advice on your case. Debt collection specialist and office manager
Diana has over 25 years’ experience in the Law, and has the dual role of office manager and debt collection specialist. Diana deals with non-contested small claims disputes. Diana started her career as a paralegal in the criminal department of a large firm of solicitors in 1982. Diana subsequently moved into working in civil litigation, where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Away from the office, Diana swaps debt collection for gem collection and has established a beautiful collection of precious gemstone jewellery over the years. Diana loves spending time with her family and friends, visiting local eateries, and tries to keep as fit as possible by walking her Basset Hound “Shirley Bassi”.
Dave’s Virtual Assistant
Janet has over 17 years’ experience working within the legal industry. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Secretaries. She is also a qualified proofreader. Janet is responsible for the digital transcription/copy typing and proofreading for David, Alan, and Gary on a freelance basis. In her spare time she likes to knit and when she has time she likes to swap her ‘keyboard’ keys for ‘piano’ keys as she tries to play the piano. She likes socialising with friends and family, and her favourite tipple is real ale.
Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer
Faizal is a senior lawyer with extensive experience in private practice as well as the public sector and has substantial experience in handling large value and complex litigation claims. Faizal nearly 30 years’ experience and has extensive experience handling a range of civil and commercial disputes. Faizal has undertaken varied and complex litigation cases including negligence claims, breach of contract, intellectual property disputes, and construction disputes. Faizal has also been involved in Pro-Bono work in the Voluntary sector and has been recognised with many Awards for his work outside the office. When Faizal manages some downtime he likes to play Golf and is a keen on American Football is a supporter of the Cincinnati Bengals. He is also very interested in Cooking and loves to try different cuisines from around the World.
Simon qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and was a partner with Smith Partnership from 1986 until he retired in 2016. Simon’s main area of expertise latterly was protection of vulnerable people, and he advised adults with learning disabilities, mental disorders and the elderly, in contentious as well as non-contentious matters. Simon has dealt with high profile and high value cases, and has appeared both on the radio and Panorama. Since retiring Simon has acted as a locum for several firms. When he is not toiling away at his desk, Simon’s interests remain with all aspects of mental health and community volunteering, and he enjoys endurance sport events.
