Care for the community is a major part of our firm’s DNA. That is why we like to make sure that we offer our support to worthwhile charities every year.
This year, we are working with the Shakespeare Hospice Trust, a hugely valuable charitable body that provides care to people suffering with chronic and terminal illness, both in hospice and at home, as well as bereavement support services and more.
Sadly, there is no such thing as a family, or community, that is not touched by tragedy at some point. It is a fundamental part of the human condition. At David Lee Solicitors, we often help people through difficult times – whether that is a divorce, the drafting of a will, or something else – but there are some things we can not help with. That is why we’re so passionate about helping the charitable bodies that offer community support which, in the long run, we all benefit from. The Shakespeare Hospice Trust is just such a charity.
On May 18, we relaunched the Trust’s local charity chop. On 29July, we will be taking part in a sponsored cycle ride. And on August 18, we will be part of a “rainbow run”. No doubt, we will find other ways to show our support for this very worthwhile institution too.
If you are looking to help the people around you and don’t know what to do, we always appreciate extra sponsorship (just drop us a line over on our contact page). If you feel you can do more, the Shakespeare Hospice Trust is always looking for volunteers to take part in its events, and to help out however they can.
